THE HUGE NUMBERS WITNESSED ON NUP RALLIES ARE NOTHING DOERS

The youths are not the ones responsible for the "unemployment" in the country, it's fully the government's responsibility.

Following what is happening in Uganda literally can make you shade a tear if you are patriotic about your country. This time around I'm not talking about the rotten education sector, not about a city that looks like a garden, not about a health sector that is in comma for decades, not about the hungry hyenas in government offices. Not all of that is going to take any drop of ink today.

The recent NUP tour across the country opened my eyes to see how badly people are desperate for change. And guess what, this time round it's not only the youth that turned up to show their support for the cause. But also the elderly have been seen with yearning faces for a bright future for Uganda the mother land.

One National resistance movement (NRM) official made a statement about the huge numbers in an interview with a certain Television journalist which made my heart bleed. In this interview he said that the current large number being witnessed on NUP tours, majority are jobless youths that have nothing to do. That's why they are coming to waste there time on the rallies.

But he should be ashamed of himself and his government because they are the ones that should be held responsible for this. The government clearly doesn't have a plan to this problem but instead they are laughing at the unemployed youths who are desperate.

huge numbers of NUP supporters

But the numbers can't be taken for granted because this unemployed crowd can raise up for themselves and determine the future of there country with improved services as one voice.

The youths are looking for someone who can work upon the hardships they are facing but not someone giving them peanuts to attend a political rally.

My opinion is government shouldn't just mock the big numbers but rather reflect on the why.
