I have no correct words to describe how Esther and Ezekiel sing, but if you have had a chance to listen to this duo singing then you know what I mean. If you haven't, then it's high time you did! They are the Daughter and son of a Uganda gospel singer Julie Mutesaasira and Pastor Steven Mutesaasira.

They won the first season of the East Africa Has Got Talent in October 2019, at the ages of 14 (Esther) and 11 (Ezekiel). It's no coincidence for this duo to be amazingly talented because they come from a musical family.
Their mother, Julie is a Ugandan gospel singer with a number of songs like 'Lwana Nabo', Nterekera'. While on an interview on Kenyan Citizen TV, they revealed how watching their mother sing and everything she did inspired them.
Esther also opened up and said that it's her aunt who discovered that she could sing at an earlier age.

Their audition tape was submitted by their aunt who discovered them. They received four yeses from the judges after singing Alexandra Burke's version of Hallelujah at the theater auditions and made it to the live shows.
They continued winning all the way to the finals and merged the winners taking home US$50, 000. After winning, the duo received a warm welcome home and have since been invited to perform at many functions.
Their recent song 'Omwaka Ogw'omukisa' is a collabo with a Capella group known as Jehovah Shallom Acapella Ug who also participated in the East Africa Has Got Talent and made it to the finals.
